Wild Earth Llama Adventures

"Llama Trekking Adventures in New Mexico's Pristine Wilderness!"

Wild Earth Llama Adventures offers educational multi-day llama trekking adventures and gourmet lunch day hikes in the seldom visited wilderness areas of New Mexico’s Sangre de Cristo Mountains and Rio Grande Gorge, near Taos and Santa Fe.

Wild Earth Llama Rescue now has 26 rescued llamas, at thier New Mexico llama rescue ranch, many of which come from unwanted, neglected, and often abandoned or dire situations. Most of these animals are already adults by the time they get the call. They have usually never been haltered, handled, or groomed, and are in bad need of a shearing. Often they are feral and unsocialized, but are mostly just scared.

Wild Earth Llama Adventures operates in a unique partnership with the USFS, BLM, and regional wilderness advocacy groups to promote conservation and stewardship of our public wild lands.

Wild Earth Llama Rescue has recently been accepted as a Special Project of the Taos Community Foundation, who is our new Fiscal Sponsor, and Nonprofit Incubator.
