Grant Committee Membership Application

Taos Community Foundation is calling for Grant Committee Members!

Taos Community Foundation (TCF) is excited to announce that we’re looking for community members to join our grant review committees!

What does it mean to be on a TCF grant review committee?

Diverse Perspectives:

Our review committees are made up of a wide range of community members. We’re looking for people who understand the unique culture and needs of the communities in Taos and western Colfax counties.

Relevant Background/Experience:

Taos Community Foundation awards grants in many areas, such as Health, Education, Arts & Culture, Environment, Community Advocacy, Animal Welfare, and Basic Needs. If you have experience in any of these areas, we’d love for you to apply!

Time Commitment:

Reviewing grant applications requires thought and care. You’ll have applications assigned to you, and typically have a month to review them all. After you review them individually, committee members meet in-person to discuss and decide on the final grant recipients.

Resources:

We know that not everyone has experience with grant reviewing. Don’t worry – we’ll provide an orientation to guide you through the process and help you understand the criteria we use to evaluate proposals.

Thank you for helping us create a fair and inclusive grant review process. We look forward to working together to make a lasting impact in our community!
