Grant Acknowledgement & Branding Guidelines – Taos Community Foundation

Taos Community Foundation is able to award grants because of the generosity of our fund holders and donors. We are proud to support your work, and we encourage you to share news of your grants, and recognize both Taos Community Foundation and the fund(s) which helped to make the grant possible.

The following guidelines are intended to assist you in sharing your grant publicly. We ask that you follow these basic guidelines when using our name or logo.

Include news of your grant in all publications you produce for distribution:

This encompasses press releases, newsletters, brochures, annual reports, board minutes, etc.

Any promotional materials acknowledging support from the Foundation should specifically reference Taos Community Foundation and mention the name of the designated fund(s), as indicated in your grant award letter, rather than the name of the fund holder.

For example: This project has been funded, either in full or in part, through a grant provided by the __________ Fund at Taos Community Foundation.

If you have questions about the best way to acknowledge a grant, or about the total monetary award from TCF for publication, please don’t hesitate to call us.

Taos Community Foundation Logo:

We ask that you use our logo and name in all external communication that involves Taos Community Foundation, including but not limited to: advertisements, flyers, brochures, presentations, newsletters, print marketing, and social media materials. Please do not change the color, or otherwise alter or remove elements of the logo. When our logo is placed on advertising material with very limited layout space, please make sure the type is clearly legible.

We request that if you include our logo or name on your website, you link from your page to the homepage of our website site.

Several variations of our logo, including horizonal and vertical layouts are available. Please contact us for the high-resolution files (PNG, SVG, EPS) for use in printed materials and in web applications.
