Taos Community Foundation has a variety of special grant initiatives that may invite proposals at different times of the year. These grant making efforts are often very specific in regards to the scope or focus of a particular need in our community. These tailored grant applications are also of a competitive application process. Details can be found in files in the left-hand navigation pane.
TPEF has committed funds for the 2017-18 school year as part of a competitive cycle extended specifically to teachers and school professionals in the Taos Municipal School District. Grants will be awarded in November, 2017 as part of a Grant Reception Celebration. For more information, download the Announcement and Application on the left of your screen.
Taos Community Foundation established the Kids in Need (KIN) Special Project to assist families to acquire durable medical or adaptive equipment for their eligible child(ren). The intent of this initiative is to focus on children whose families have exhausted other sources of funding for necessary medical equipment, or are not eligible for traditional State insurance programs. Applications will be accepted for funding consideration on a rolling basis, meaning that there is no deadline for submission. Applications will be reviewed by an advisory committee and funding decisions will be made in a timely manner. Please see the KIN Application to the left, for eligibility requirements and instructions on submission.
